                   Activity 8: Areas of learning


                   Examples of suitable activities:


                   A baby of six months will enjoy a hide and seek game with an adult who places a toy
                   under a blanket which they can reach for and pick up (physical, intellectual, social
                   development).


                   A child of 20 months will enjoy drawing and painting independently, concentrating as
                   they paint. They might talk about what they are doing and ask questions (physical,
                   intellectual, language development).
