A Activity 12: Gunther’s routine
Ways in which Tatiana meets
Gunther’s basic needs Development supported
Arrive – welcoming, reassuring,
helping Gunther settle and
introducing him to the other
children, puzzles and games for him
to play with.
Snack time – provides healthy
snacks, finger food so Gunther can
feed himself.
Mid-morning – routine care needs
such as changing Gunther’s nappy,
settling him to sleep, talking to
Gunther.
Lunch – provides a healthy lunch
with vegetables, lets Gunther feed
himself.
After lunch – plays with all the
children e.g. simple ball games.
