Activity 11: Basic needs of young children
Responses should cover the key needs identified in Section 3.1 and include:
• Food and drink which is healthy and helps them to grow and develop
• A caring adult who can ensure they are comfortable and cared for
• A place to rest and sleep
• Routines for washing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Opportunities to learn and develop new skills across all the key
development areas.
