Unit 4: Information, advice or guidance in context

Welcome to unit four.

This unit is split into four sections. These are:

Section 1: The information, advice or guidance needs of a specific group

of clients

Section 2: How to explore choices and options with a specific group of
clients

Section 3: How to enable clients to challenge discriminatory behaviour
and practice

Section 4: The range of barriers which may prevent clients from being
able to access information, advice or guidance services

Section 1: The information, advice or guidance needs of a

specific group of clients

This section will explore the following:
• Examples of possible information, advice or guidance needs of a specific
group of clients in the context of own practice

• A range of factors which may affect client choices and how these could
impact on the client.
