Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
Another example is Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), which is the most
common behavioural disorder in children and usually starts at around 18 months
old, becoming more noticeable between the ages of 3 and 7. Children with ADHD find
it hard to concentrate, struggle to control their speech and actions, are restless and
become easily distracted, and talk and interrupt people a lot. These are all symptoms
specific to ADHD.

non-profit organisation that works to assist children with mental
health problems and disorders, and their families. You will see
